A garden for entertaining

In April of 2001 our clients razed a dilapidated 1950's ranch house, and wanted to create a new space with an old town charm.   Teaming with Dan Frymire, Architect and Tecton Builders, we set to work creating a series of private spaces that would allow the owners to entertain friends and colleagues while providing other comfortable areas to enjoy when alone.

We were able to incorporate a pool, spa, an outdoor fireplace and grilling space while still meeting the city's requirements for impervious surface coverage for an in-town lot.   Raised planting beds and a water feature in the front helped create a refined human scale and pleasant welcoming facade for the public.
